The Banana Eats birthday update celebrates the anniversary of the Roblox survival horror game by RyCitrus with fresh cosmetics, lobby decorations, contest winner designs, and a free reward. Players logging in during the event can interact with special lobby features, redeem an anniversary code, and browse limited-time items in the shop.
Birthday Event Code and Lobby Features
During the anniversary celebration, players can claim a special birthday cosmetic through the game's code redemption menu. Entering the code HAPPYBIRTHDAY unlocks an exclusive cake-themed cosmetic for the Banana, which features a dish carrying a slice of cake directly on the banana's head.
In the pre-game lobby, the update adds a decorative rainbow cake puzzle display. Players can inspect the event centerpiece while waiting for rounds to start or while hanging out in private servers.
New Skins and Shop Cosmetics
The update introduces several cosmetics to the shop lineup, spanning both limited anniversary items and permanent legendary additions:
| Item Name | Item Type | Rarity / Availability | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rainbow Cake | Banana Skin | Limited (13,000 Coins) | Features a golden plate, yellow striped candle, golden spoon, and floating colorful particles |
| Blender | Banana Skin | Legendary | Features a peeled banana trapped inside a blender |
| Bad Breakfast | Banana Skin | Legendary | Contest winner design |
| Toy Tower | Banana Skin | Shop Item | Contest winner design |
| Classic Cake | Beacon Skin | Shop Item | Anniversary cake-themed beacon |
| Smoothie | Beacon Skin | Shop Item | Drink-themed runner beacon |
The Rainbow Cake skin stands out as the primary coin sink of the event, priced at 13,000 coins. Because limited skins rotate out after seasonal events conclude, players prioritizing event exclusives generally focus their coins on the Rainbow Cake before buying non-limited legendary skins.
Whoopee Cushion Replacement
A notable system adjustment included in the update is the removal and replacement of the Whoopee Cushion cosmetics. Both Whoopee Cushion banana skins and their matching beacon variants were removed to comply with Roblox platform age-rating guidelines, as whoopee cushions were classified as crude humor.
To compensate players:
- The Whoopee Cushion skins were replaced with Cheeseburger skins (Mmm Cheezburger).
- Coins spent on the original items were refunded to player balances, providing extra currency to spend on the new birthday shop items.
- A matching cheeseburger beacon was introduced to replace the old whoopee cushion beacon item.
Game Modes and Supported Platforms
The birthday celebration content is playable across all standard Banana Eats game modes, including standard Escape rounds, Locker-Less, and Banana Split matches. Banana Eats is available on Desktop, Mobile, Xbox, and PlayStation 5 platforms.
